Zwolle (Holland), på väg till London (England)

Hello Klass 2B,
Today I am sitting in the train, see picture, next to a nice gentleman. He is so kind to take me with him in his bag to London. Whoohoo.... London. Who would have thought about it me going there. I am looking forward to meet with the Brittish people and drink tea with them.

Yesterday I visited Nijmegen. This is the oldest city of the Netherlands. It's over 2000 years old. It were the Roman people who established it. Sorry about the odd shape of the city sign. It's made in a street where they are building new houses so a lot of trucks and loaders are passing every day. One driver broke the sign. This is close to the house I stayed in during the weekend. Also recently (well not that recent if you look to the age a normal human can reach) this place made history again besides the Roman people who lived there. Close to the the house I was in the Germans were fighting in 1944 during the 2nd World War the entire autumn and winter with the allied forces. Were the shoutern part of Holland was liberated already here they were still fighting just to cross one simple bridge. Only in May 1945 the entire country got liberated.

Let me know if I should tell more about it.It was great fun in Nijmegen during the weekend. The family took well care. They had a little boy and girl who played with me.
Whoohoo flying soon....
